Valley Region

Service Review - Second Round

For the second round of service reviews, LAFCO is reviewing each region of the County (Valley, North Desert, South Desert, and Mountain) by service.  The Valley region is defined by the Valley Service Zone of the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District, generally described as extending from the Los Angeles and Orange County Lines eastward to Oak Glen, from the Riverside County line northward extending beyond the National Forest Boundary.  Note that the Valley description is general and does not preclude the review from extending beyond the described boundary.

The Service Review and Sphere Updates for the Valley Region are defined by the following services:

  • Water Conservation
  • Water
  • Wastewater
  • Resource Conservation
  • Ambulance
  • Fire Protection/Emergency Response
  • Law Enforcement
  • Airport, Cemeteries, Library, Park, Power, Roads, Streetlights
