The Mariana Ranchos County Water District is authorized by LAFCO to provide the following function: water. The district receives a small share of property tax revenue based on land only. The agency does not provide pension or other post-employment benefits (OPEB). The district’s six square mile service area is located in the southern unincorporated area of Apple Valley.
